Dutchess
Adopted!
Now known as Sophie Rose

Her name is Dutchess, bet you will be calling her sweetheart! She is not a 'watchdog'. She rarely barks!

Dutchess tries to fit in quietly and makes herself comfortable (?) where she can.

This girl is not yet interested in swimming but has no fear of coming up to the edge of the pool, even after falling in! She does not mind being splashed, either.

She is a svelte 29 30 pounds at a playful 11 months of age and has been very recently spayed.

The Dutchess is very gentle and polite and is just a most wonderful house pet! She loves the excitement of a quick run in the yard or to be chased around the house. However, she is not a jogging companion.	We are working on building her confidence level because Dutchess can be easily startled. She recovers from it very quickly, and is not afraid of thunder. She mastered going through the (noisy) doggy door very quickly.
Dutchess is not very keen on going for a walk enjoys going for walks but we still require that she has a fenced yard in her forever home. She may be just a bit leash shy. Dutchess is coming out of her shell very nicely!

and with such good manners she is most welcome!

But, she is still longing for that final forever home and she would love for someone to play with her!

Dutchess is learning how to play with toys. She likes toys and will run after them but does not seem to know that it is okay to pick them up. She is beginning to get the hang of it, though!

Dutchess looks serious in most of her pictures, but she can be goofy!

Dutchess gets along with other dogs very nicely.
