AbbyAbbey

Abby is the first puppy of the litter. She weighed approximately 9.5 ounces at birth.

At Six Months old:
Abby is now 23 pounds and approximately 16 inches at the top of her shoulder.

"The community we now live in is laced with walking trails that Abby just loves."

"Lately, during this move, her favorite trick is to wait until I've started putting some new item together and then she steals the directions and eats them as fast as possible."

Bungee

Bungee is the second puppy of the litter. She weighed approximately 8 ounces at birth.

At Six Months old:
Bungee is now 20 pounds.

"Bungee and I have been attending training classes at PetsMart on Monday nights. She has been going for about six weeks now and is the top dog in the class. She has learned how to sit, stay, come, lose leash walk with a sit, lay down, watch me, and so many more. She is so smart and really picks things up quickly. One of her favorite things, besides food and treats, is to chase a ball.

She completed the beginners course and is starting the intermediate class on Monday (8/7). She got the top place in her class. We are so proud of her!! She is an amazing dog with such a cute personality. We are thinking of taking her to the following class because that will prepare her for her canine citizen ship test and the therapy dog test. Since I work in the school system I would love for Bungee to be a therapy dog for the special needs students." [Click on small photo, below, to see larger image of Bungee's Graduation!]

Pirate

Pirate is the third puppy of the litter and is the first male. He weighed approximately 10 ounces at birth - which made him one of the largest pups at that time.

At Six Months old:
Pirate is now approximately 30 pounds.

"Pirate loves to play, walk, run, tears up his toys. Still loves to sleep and cuddle. It is 4th of July and we have a feeling he is going to be scared all night!! Some kids were playing with some noisey firecrackers and Pirate was shaking and wouldn't go out to potty. So, we took him to the park near us & he was happy."

"He is about 30 pounds, and doing great. He loves to swim in our pool, hike on the trail by our house, and EAT. He is very loving, and very well-behaved. He still has one blue eye, and much more brown on his body. Derek plays with him all the time."

Foster Doodle

Foster is the fourth puppy of the litter, making him the "middle child". He weighed approximately 6 ounces at birth, he was the littlest pup at that time

At Six Months old:
Foster is now 32 pounds.

Foster writes

"I have learned how to heel and walk with Criss around the block. When we come to a street, I have learned to sit and look for cars and trucks and anything else that may be going by.

I love chewing on nyla bones, but just last week Criss bought me rawhide bones. Oh my gosh, that is THE BEST! I reley love playing with my tennis ball. I love to chase after it and bring it back so someone can throw it again! I even like playing with it by myself in the house, but sometimes I get it stuck under the recliner or couch."

Buddy ZigZag

Buddy is the fifth puppy. He weighed approximately 10 ounces at birth. He has two blue eyes.

At Six Months old:

Last email was in March which stated:
"He is considerably more rambuctious than Bailey was as a pup and can be quite entertaining as a result.

Buddy has already established his status in our 'pack" taking over a section of the couch, a spot at the foot of the bed, and a position besides Bailey at the food bowl. I have a suspicion that he will soon become Alpha-male if we dont watch out!

Buddy has free reign of the house and back yard while we are home and absolutely loves playing on the 'landscape island' amongst the plants. He loves to chew of course ( his favorite chew toy is Bailey) and he loves to wrestle (especially in the wee-hours of the morning when everyone else are in deep REM sleep). There is nothing like puppy breath and a wet tongue waking you up at 2 am."

We got a phone call about Buddy in June, his both eyes remained blue. He is very much loved. Unfortunately, I forget how much he weighed. He is 1 or 2 inches taller than his beagle brother, Bailey.

Reese TBone / TP

Reese is the sixth puppy. She weighed approximately 6 ounces at birth. Reese was adopted into the same family that "momma dog" was adopted into.

At Six Months old:
Reese is now 25+ pounds.

"Reese is now over 25 pounds, and very muscular. She is several inches taller than Kayle [webmaster note: Kayle is MOMMA DOG, was called Honey] but Kayle still dominates. Reese still has her mohawk. They still play very well together and now I see them lizard hunting in the back yard. Both are very well behaved and both sleep with us now. Reese just jumps up and Kayle just looks sad and jumps up on the side of the bed until we lift her up.

Sadie Geisha

Sadie is the last puppy of the litter. She weighed approximately 10 ounces at birth. Sadie was the biggest girl at that time

At Six Months old:

"Sadie is now 27 pounds, all muscle no fat. She has long legs and is very fast. She can run faster than a greyhound that she plays with. Sadie is a great dog. We are thinking of entering her into agility classes, we think she would do very well with that. She loves to run, we walk her every day for 3 miles. Sadie has no fears, is a little bull headed and is very friendly."

Kayle Honey

Momma, our sweet momma dog.

Six Months later:
Kayle (on the right) had to be treated for her heartworms after going through her big ordeal of motherhood. She recovered from the treatment and now has more energy. Good thing, cause she has (not so) little Reese (on the left) living with her!
